The mission of 1 Starfish is to equip all impoverished children in San Jorge, Nicaragua, with school uniforms and supplies so they can attend school and to create sewing jobs within the same community.
Nicaragua, the second poorest nation in the Western Hemisphere, has
free public schools, but families must provide basic supplies like
clothing, notebooks, and pens. It costs about $50 per year to outfit
one child, which for many people is more than one month's salary and
therefore an insurmountable obstacle. Currently an education is an
impossible dream for about half of the children in San Jorge (pop.
5,000). The purpose of this project is to ensure that all San Jorge
children can be equipped with the basic supplies necessary to attend
school and to stimulate the local economy by creating sewing jobs.

Access to Quality Care has established to facilitate the research, design, evaluation, and implementation of technology in traditional and alternative energy sources. Our mission is to provide a learning environment that ensures inner-city residents are the recipients of these proven economical energy systems. We will employ the resources available at educational institutions as well as planned partnerships with community, government, and business entities. We will empower the community with the use of photovoltaic cells, hydrogen fuel cells, wind turbines and other proven alternative technologies.

We put a spotlight on individuals and organizations acting locally
and around the world to recognize heroic efforts and share projects for
others to get involved.
What is your mission? Do you have a passion that offers direction, or
purpose that creates a sense of place? Get organized and take action!

The Advantage Foundation was formed to support prevention efforts in resource poor settings and create as well as sustain healthier communities through a compassionate, comprehensive response to HIV/AIDS..
Some areas of Southern Africa have an alarmingly high infection rate of HIV and thousands are dying from AIDS. Advantage Foundation will concentrate on these areas to prevent new infections and also to help those who are affected by HIV and AIDS. We are dedicated to providing care and support to people living with HIV/AIDS and we will offer the following services:

The Afghan Women's Mission (AWM) works closely with the Revolutionary Association of the Women of Afghanistan (RAWA) to support health, educational, and other programs for Afghan women. Despite the rhetoric from 'official' circles, conditions in Afghanistan have not improved since the fall of the Taliban and the U.S.-led bombing campaign. AWM is facilitating health care and educational projects serving Afghan refugees, in particular women and children. Medical and educational supplies are desperately needed in order to combat the mental suffering, illiteracy, joblessness and poverty rampant in this country.

AIDS Affects U$ All (AAUA) is a traveling photographic exhibition used as an AIDS prevention and education tool.
The work includes photographs from the early 1990's done at the Maitri Hospice for People with AIDS, the first Buddhist AIDS Hospice in America and the Ambassador Hotel in San Francisco's Tenderloin district. New York includes images and text from 3 cities in Cuba (Havana, Cienfuegos and Santiago de Cuba) and 2 AIDS Hospices in Juarez, Mexico. Cuba has the lowest infection rate in Latin America. Juarez has a high infection rate as weli as many other problems common to border towns including drug trafficking and disappearances of women. This work is used to raise awareness concerning malnutrition, unclean water and safe sex.
This project focuses on AIDS prevention and education through photographs and accompanying text. Because the people I want to reach do not usually go to art galleries, my intent is to bring the exhibition to them; to places where they come upon the images by accident; where they gather to do something other than viewing art. This is what I call " Accidental Art". So the work can appear in public places where people congregate to do ordinary things like standing in line or sitting in a waiting area -- places like entrances to college libraries, community centers, rape crisis centers, hospital waiting rooms, soup kitchens, churches, banks, government buildings, bus, train or plane terminals, anywhere other than galleries and restaurants. My hope is to reach as many people as possible; to touch ordinary folks in ordinary places. Remember, AIDS Affects U$ All, whoever we are and wherever we go.
We work to contribute to world peace and global environmental
justice by campaigning for the US government to take responsibility for
its toxic legacy in its former military bases in the Philippines
in coalition with NGOs and people's organizations of other nations that
are in the same predicament and share the same vision of a just, humane
and peaceful world.
The project being implemented by the Alliance
for U.S. Bases Clean-up, International (ABC-Int'l)
in the areas of the former US bases in the Philippines particularly
that of the former Clark and Subic bases pursues the campaign globally
in order to forge a united and stronger voice to call
on the US government to take responsibility for the clean-up of
its overseas military bases.

American Songwriters is a planned 13-part series, narrated by Larry King, which will culminate in a PBS special and CD-Rom. Each hour episode pays musical tribute to an esteemed American songwriter. Musical celebrities from three American generations - the 1950's, 1970's and 1990's - will perform renditions of their classic tunes. These artists and their melodies have endured for over 150 years, from Stephen Foster in the 1850's to Stephen Sondheim in the present time. Their songs have bound us together in times of national crisis, while their lyrics have had great meaning in our personal relationships. In fact, one of the most direct contributions this project can make is to inspire a new generation of young songwriters to create beautiful melodies.

In April 2005, Spectral Q Productions, at the request of the Inuit Circumpolar Conference, will create a human aerial art image on the disappearing arctic sea ice to call the world's attention to the devastating impact of global warming on the existence of the Inuit people around the Arctic Circle.
As their culture and environment are quickly vanishing, the Inuit people are putting out a call for humanity to wake up to the devastating impact of global warming. The Inuit Circumpolar Conference Chair Sheila Watt-Cloutier has invited aerial artist John Quigley of Spectral Q Productions to create a dramatic human aerial image on the arctic sea ice on the edge of the Arctic Circle. This image, which is intended as a wakeup call for the United States and other countries with large CO2 emissions, will be created by involving a thousand members of the Inuit community and international NGOs. The resulting global publicity will support the cause of the Inuit and their campaign about the human impact of global warming. This aerial image will take place in conjunction with 'Toonik Tyme' the annual spring festival celebrating Inuit culture and will include meetings with key representatives of organizations around the world.
A host committee of prominent NGOs, including but not limited to NRDC and Global Green USA will be supporting the event and their representatives will be present. Additional sponsors, both local and international will support the two-day event, which will be held between April 18 and April 23, when weather conditions are appropriate. International celebrities will also attend to see first hand the issues of the dramatic impact of climate change on an indigenous culture that dates back over 10,000 years.
Sheila Watt-Cloutier, the elected chairwoman of the Inuit Circumpolar Conference, the quasi-governmental group recognized by the United Nations as representing the Inuit, says their biggest fear is not that warming will kill individuals but that it will be the final blow to a sturdy but suffering culture. "We've had to struggle as a people to keep afloat, to keep our indigenous wisdom and traditions," she said. "We're an adaptable people, but adaptability has its limits. Something is bound to give, and it's starting to give in the Arctic, and we're giving that early warning signal to the rest of the world." (See more in the attached article from the New York Times.)

There is a story waiting to be told and we are in a position to tell it. It is a story of commonalities and vision that is New England's origin story, seen from a perspective that can inspire all who hear it.
James Phinney Baxter was a visionary. He saw something,
something
he wanted others to see, to understand and be inspired by. His
dream could not be realized until this moment because it was not
time. It has taken four generations, and a full swing of the
pendulum of human dreams and fears to learn enough to bring his vision
to fruition - to bring forth a balanced story that can free a nation to
become "the exemplar of Liberty, Justice and Brotherhood among the
nations of the world" that James Phinney Baxter and the Founders of
America knew it could become.

The Birthing Vision was founded to create an accessible support system to provide a profoundly conscious, joy-filled, peaceful, and celebratory experience within the human birthing process and early childhood. In so doing, we aim to re-pattern the human involution and evolution process to create peace, ease, and conscious creative joy in the dialogue between what is the matter and the Spirit of creation. The ultimate result will be the emergence of an entire culture based on sustainable co-creativity rather than competition and recovery, yielding a future for the human family of exponential expansion and discovery. Our ultimate mission is to support peaceful birthing practices world wide, and put an end to atrocities against both genders.
The Birthing Vision Team is comprised of 15 women, each a licensed acupuncturist, herbalist, cranial sacral therapist, and Doula. "Doula" means "woman's slave" in Greek, and is a woman trained and experienced in childbirth who provides information and continuous non-clinical physical and emotional support to a woman, her partner, and their baby during pregnancy, labor, birth, and the immediate post partum period.

The mission of Campaign Humane is to make a humane world a reality. We envision a society in which individuals, businesses and governments make informed decisions to create a humane world as part of everyday life, and no longer participate in causing pain and suffering to animals through individual and institutionalized cruelty such as companion animal abuse, factory farming and vivisection. In a humane world, the interests and needs of animals would be given due legal consideration, both in our laws and through our courts, in order to ensure animals are able to live out their lives protected from cruelty and neglect.
In achieving its mission, Campaign Humane will inspire and empower people to make informed, humane lifestyle choices, ensure that the business community and our governments are knowledgeable about and consider the interests of animals in making legal and policy decisions, and work to elevate the status of the interests of animals within our national public policy debates, both among social justice causes and within our society in general. Campaign Humane will use legal, legislative and public awareness campaigns to motivate the public, businesses and our government to act on behalf of those who cannot act for themselves, thus making a humane world a reality.

The mission of the Central Asian
Focus Group ("CAFG") is
to promote Central Asian social, cultural, and scientific heritage by
developing and strengthening ties between academic institutions,
non-profit organizations, and business communities in Central Asia and
USA.
After a long period of isolation, Central Asia is opening up to the world. There is a great need for understanding and appreciation of its scientific, cultural, philosophical, and social contributions to our civilization. CAFG will turn this lack of appreciation into exciting opportunities and will strive to materialize these opportunities by creating partnerships, connecting interested parties, and conducting meaningful projects in US and Central Asia. CAFG will serve as a gathering point for generating ideas and creating a bridge connecting Central Asia to a western world.

Our Understanding is simple and evolving...
We know that simplicity is at the core of every complex system,
And to assure health, growth must be spherical & spin, while
being straightforward & holistic.
Our experience is that social order is determined by the systems that
insure its health,
And these organizations depend on the vitality of their
professionals.
New knowledge is inherently radical,
And must be practically applied & become rapidly
self-sustainable.
True education calls forth individual authenticity & benefits the
whole,
And what benefits everyone generates profit for one & all.
We are committed to bringing heavenly-minded matters down to earth for
earthly good,
Because this is the only way & the only place where we can know
they count.
Our purpose is to facilitate individual and organizational learning and transformation through the investigation and application of Mereon's unitive, geometric and logical properties.

The Chizarira Wilderness Support Project (CHIZPRO) aims to help secure the long-term ecological future of the Chizarira Wilderness Area, Zimbabwe, one of the most bio-diverse regions of Southern Africa.
Southern Africa, especially the Zambezi Valley and its surrounding highlands and forests, represents one of the largest unbroken wilderness areas in Africa, and indeed, the world. Chizarira National Park and its surrounding tribal areas lie at the heart of this region. It is one of the few areas left in Southern Africa where local people, wildlife and flora still live side-by-side without compromising the surrounding ecology. In a changing world, this fragile balance is always at risk. CHIZPRO will assist the region in adapting to the inevitable changes and securing its continued future as a working wilderness area.
Over the next few years, CHIZPRO will help secure the wilderness's core area - Chizarira National Park - from poaching, helping it gain the status of an Intensive Protection Zone (IPZ). In addition, CHIZPRO will need to create health and school facilities for its own staff but which could also benefit local people and park workers. A secure zone will be created at the eco-concession area adjacent to the park (Chizarira Lodge), where two endangered species endemic to the region - black rhinoceros and roan antelope - will be bred for re-introduction into other Southern African reserves and into Chizarira National Park itself.

The mission of Christian Right in the Military is to complete research on a proposal for a book on the growing influence of the Christian Right in the US military.
The proposed book - "Bad Faith: Crusading Generals, Born-Again Grunts, and the Birth of a New Christian Nation" - will look at efforts by rightwing Christian groups to evangelize enlisted men and women and senior officers in the US military in the years since the Vietnam War. My research focuses on two questions: What political impact have these groups had in their effort "to raise up a Godly military?" And what dangers, if any, do their efforts pose to American democracy.

At the present time, CER is
using the DVD "Invisible
Ballots: A temptation for electronic vote fraud," which has
proved to be an effective tool in this campaign. We have set up a
lending library whose sole purpose is the widespread distribution of
the DVD. Uses of the DVD include: group showings, OpEd
pieces, articles, reviews, discussion sessions, anything that promotes
awareness of this critical problem.

The Coalition Against Militarism in Our Schools, or "CAMS," informs and educates the public, especially students, parents, and school personnel, about the growing militarization of our schools and creates and presents positive nonviolent alternatives to that trend.
As the US expands its military presence around the world, the armed services need to increase the number of people enlisting. This has led to a growing presence of military recruiters and programs on school campuses, targeting our youth, who often are led to believe they have no other options. CAMS seeks to offset that presence, asking students to think critically and question the statements made by the recruiters, and to offer alternatives to students, showing positive, life affirming opportunities often not presented to them.

The Coalition of Concerned Legal Professionals (CCLP) empowers low-income working people with the legal knowledge and the back of legal professionals thdy could otherwise never afford, to obtain real ustice in the reversal of their poverty conditions.

Particiaption in CCLP is open to all who desire to see a diprived sefment of the population gain access to legal recourse. CCLP is all-volunteer, accepts no government funding or other funding that would threaten the association's ability to provide a voice to those seeking recourse from current government policy.

The Coastal Law Enforcement Action Network (CLEAN) was created to provide a public interest service of legal enforcement of the California Coastal Act by preparing, filing and litigating coastal enforcement lawsuits that require compliance with environmental protection and public access provisions of the law.
An example of a successful public interest enforcement case is the one that Wetlands Action Network brought against a landowner who owned an illegal golf course for more than 20 years and had been applying toxic poisons to land that drained into Malibu Lagoon and Surfrider Beach.
Instead of levying huge fines, an agreement was reached whereby the poisons were either eliminated totally, or agreed to be applied in minimal amounts. Testing was also agreed upon to assure that the small amounts of chemicals being applied to the golf course would not enter the lagoon ecosystem or the nearshore surf waters.
In addition, the entire land parcel wll be donated to the State of California upon the death of the owners.
There are hundreds of coastal violations to which the California Coastal Commission can not pay attention. It is incumbent upon the public to insure that environmental protection and public access laws are enforeced through citizen litigation.
Creative settlements, like the one mentioned above, will be the goal of CLEAN.

Democracy Uprising is a non-profit organization dedicated to nurturing sustainable community development by facilitating the free exchange of labor, information, and ideas.
Democracy Uprising exists to help empower communities to better meet their own needs for food, housing, education, healthcare, and improving their quality of life in a just and dignified manner by providing knowledge and infusions of labor that communities would not otherwise have access to. We also aim to build bridges between communities -- radical and grassroots, rural and urban -- in order to inspire and excite their activism.
The current goal of Democracy Uprising is to launch a nationwide bus tour for the summer of 2005 with the mission of creating a mobile community of socially conscience individuals sharing mutual aid with grassroots communities across America in the form of labor, information, and ideas.

The Democratic Media Initiative has been organized to participate in the creation of broad-based, participatory, and democratic media, in service of the creation of a truly democratic society and world less blighted by militarism and racism. Our primary purposes are to train grassroots community activists in media production skills and to develop alternative distributed models and systems of media distribution.

When Corey Frayer Bought a diamond engagement ring for his fiancee, he didn't think the symbol of his love could stand for anything but a lifetime of happiness. He was appalled to discover the shadowy legacy of poverty and suffering in the conflict diamond trade. "Knowing the history of the diamond, my finacee didn't want it to stand as a symbol of our love," said Frayer. "We decided to donate it."
Frayer's sense of outrage propelled him to look for an organization that helps communities harmed by the diamond trade. He called Brilliant Earth, a socially conscious diamond jewelery retailer which specializes in conflict-free diamonds from Canada. Through their conversation with the human rights group The Indigenous Land Rights Fund (ILRF), the idea for the non-profit Diamonds for Africa Fund began to emerge. "I explained my situation about how I bought this diamond engagement ring. We talked about the possibilities of replacing that ring with conflict-free diamonds. But the question remained: What do we do with the original diamonds? What do we do to create a positive situation?"
Together, Corey, Brilliant Earth, and the ILRF developed the idea for a diamond exchange. Donate a diamond or a fraction of the value, receive a tax credit, with all of the proceeds from the sale of the diamond going to help communities in Africa. Thus the Diamonds for Africa Fund was born.
"Part of being a responsible citizen is living your life so that you're contributing to the world and not just taking." - Cory Frayer

Earth Television Public Education Foundation's mission is to empower social movements and civil society groups to effectively advocate their views and deliver the message of their events directly to the public through sponsored TV programming.
Working through this non-profit, I continue to finalize and package my line of 16 World Citizen Transformational Videobooks, in preparation for their web marketing worldwide as DVDs.
My other current main focus is to help social activists and citizen events present themselves to the masses directly through sponsored TV. The plan is to have civic networks fund local broadcast of themed series of completed documentaries on politically controversial topics unmentioned by the mainstream media.
Widely promoted and selectively advertised, such topical one hour TV series, aired locally back to back during the early evening on UHF channels or in infomercial cable slots, will have a major impact in local communities. Sponsors may insert Public Service Announcements or good news segments, illustrating their causes and projects, while listing website addresses and 800 #s inviting viewer responses.
As these sets of programs start to steadily deliver a sizable viewership, they provide a niche for inserting individual event highlights shows on related themes. Multiple digital camcorders routinely record major gatherings and usually produce highly watchable source material. This requires only synchronization and shortening for immediate use. Grass roots videographers can rapidly turn out edited segments for compilation. Studio interviews with expert guests before informed audiences could add to such condensed field footage.
Using commercial television channels for public education and civic mobilization can catalyze mainstream media coverage and successfully influence policy makers.

Our purpose is to serve as a national coordinating body for citizen electoral integrity groups and individuals already working at the national, state, and local levels, and to expand participation in this movement. Our primary functions will be to provide coordination and focus, eliminate duplication of efforts, create a clearinghouse for the sharing of materials and other resources, and provide critical leadership in decision-making about strategic priorities and tactical approaches.
Much urgency is lent to our purpose by the rapid and continuing loss of public trust in and control of what has become a privatized, computerized electoral system, such that any further delay in coordinating an effective response and restoring such trust and control could foreclose options for democratic self-government.
Citizen involvement on this front has become increasingly vital as a result of the failure of the major institutions of our society, including government and media, to respond correctively to evidence of corrupt and illegitimate electoral processes and outcomes. Only strong action by an organized citizenry -- both to bring pressure to bear upon these major institutions and to act directly in large numbers and with effective coordination -- will restore an electoral system in which votes are counted as cast and we the citizens of America can trust that the resultant electoral outcomes are truly reflective of the popular will.

Emergency Communities is a grassroots organization designed to provide rapid response to natural disasters based upon an emergency community model.
An emergency community will involve both victims and volunteers in a joint effort to effectively recover from a disaster. Borne from the horrific Hurricane Katrina disaster, Emergency Communities will create dynamic disaster responses that involve people from both within the stricken community and without. In doing so, we will supplement more traditional disaster relief models. We will create safe spaces for victims, build kitchens, provide medical care, legal advice, and education. Furthermore, we will involve the effected community every step of the way, allowing them to shape the nature of the relief to determine their own needs. In doing so, Emergency Communities hopes to create a rapid, effective, and community-based relief effort that will not only save lives, but help rebuild them.

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention estimates that 40% of U.S. adults use Multi-vitamin & mineral supplements on a regular basis. With that kind of expenditure, are multivitamin supplements benefiting those adults who use them?
The health issue being addressed is the need for an effective multivitamin for populations who are elderly or chronically ill or have specific absorption problems. This target group needs to be addressed with a highly specific unique product. Problems arise in these populations because of reduced ability to produce gastric juices and digestive enzymes. This is a factor of aging and chronic illness.
Because of the existence of this problem over a long period of time, needs are no longer maintenance but rather will require therapeutic measures.
PROGRAM STUDY DESCRIPTION
The funds requested would be used toward conducting this study, for purchasing product, and employing a staff person to monitor each subject for compliance and all other factors included in the experimental design.
All data will be compiled in a manner that allows statistical evaluation. Ideally data will be gathered for a minimum of three years.
The format will include dependent and independent variables, subject profile and subject consent and compliance factors.
We will address the need for HIV/AIDS testing for everyone who is sexually active. The homosexual community, which is subject to extreme prejudice, must also be informed of the dangers they face in contracting the HIV/AIDS virus. Treatment alternatives will be recommended to people who already have the virus.

Florida Fair Elections Center ("the Center") and its lobbying counterpart, Florida Fair Elections Coalition, are the two arms of a grassroots organization founded to promote fair, open, transparent, accessible, and secure elections throughout the state of Florida.
The Center serves the public good in two ways:
As a watchdog, the Center monitors and observes elections, canvassing boards, recounts, voting machine testing, and audits in Volusia County and other locations across the state as requested. As a research and education institution, the Center conducts research, compiles and analyzes data; publishes reports and studies; organizes and hosts conferences and forums, and disseminates information on local, state, and national voting issues.

The Forest Action Network is dedicated to the protection of the Great Bear Rainforest in British Columbia through the halting of all industrial logging. FAN works hand-in-hand with the Nuxalk Nation, whose traditional homeland is being exploited for profit by logging interests, at the expense of the water, wildlife, and people of the region.

Full Circle is a registered charity in the UK that is dedicated to inspiring adults around the world to volunteer in stimulating assignments overseas and discover the power of volunteering.
Our mission
We want to unlock the volunteer in everyone.
Role of Full Circle
Our methods
We go further to understand projects' needs and volunteer potential through a structured evaluation and consultation process (in order to facilitate successful volunteer placements). We learn about volunteers' needs, skills and experience and find voluntary assignments that bring out the best in them, whether they want to go for a new experience, career break, skills development or personal journey. Every project is researched in the field by our organization and current volunteers so that we can become truly involved in helping volunteers throughout the whole process.
Our philosophy
The start and end of everything we do at Full Circle is to uphold our philosophy of what makes a good project. Our project partners have been chosen because they meet the Full Circle Standard, this standard requires projects to:
1. Demonstrate a genuine need for
international volunteers
2. Offer stimulating and organised volunteer assignments
3. Provide suitable volunteer accommodation
4. Have a reliable local support system
5. Have access to good emergency care
6. Be located in a (politically) safe environment

The mission of the GAIAculture is the advocacy and energizing of sustainable lifestyles.
Our goal is the proof that through awareness we can create equitable societies that can thrive economically while respecting the benefits of a healthy environment.
Our goal is to fund and manage multiple projects towards sustainable living. These would include, though are not limited to, rain forest protection, reforestation, organic- and permaculture-based farming methods, renewable energy production, watershed protection, education and advocacy, and cultural exchange and indigenous rights programs
We hope to build and test replicable modules of alternative sustainable natural living systems that can be applied/adapted to any community throughout the world. Malcom X advised that the only way for communities to experience liberation would be to create better working systems that make oppressive systems obsolete. We combine this axiom with the wisdom of indigenous cultures and the science of ecology which tell us that the answers to the world's problems are to be found in the ground beneath our feet. The path towards global peace, harmony, and liberation we believe starts by developing permanent local subsistence strategies that rely on the abundance of nature, not the scarcity of the industrial economy, for survival. Our purpose is to reunite people with each other and the land to restore resilient systems of human ecology.

Gathering of The Tribes unites and supports dance music collectives by cultivating networks and promoting activism, education, and sustainability.
Gathering of The Tribes is anannual five-day conference and festival uniting dance music collectives from across North America and Europe. We believe that there is quantifiable strength in numbers and that by bringing together dance community delegates, important issues of sustainability, education, and social consciousness can be addressed and put into action.
Founded in 2000 by Dustianne North, Gathering of the Tribes is based on the belief that the experience of dancing together has the power to bring understanding, healing and peace into an otherwise tumultuous and rapidly changing world. The Gathering of The Tribes was conceived under the premise that electronic dance collectives are vital to the future of our society because they are dedicated to the ideals of collective social organization, freedom of personal and artistic expression, and openness of belief and lifestyle. Also, due to the number of youth involved in the dance underground worldwide (conservative estimates are in the tens of millions), the electronic dance movement is able to communicate with potentially thousands of youth in positive ways that other outreach efforts may not.

The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes.
Marcel Proust
We believe that the world we live in - our reality - is far too
complex an entity for individuals or even individual cultures to
completely grasp on their own. What this means is that there is not a
'right' way to view the world, but multiple perspectives that overlap
in validity, truth, and insight. What this means is that 'outsiders' -
those not in the majority, those who hold non-dominant views of our
culture, times, or events - may hold essential keys to understanding
our world. What this means is that indigenous cultures, women, and
minorities (whether physical, political, perceptual or even spiritual),
have unique views that need a place in our shared understanding, to
help us complete our knowledge and our perspective. What this means is
that we need to invite the voices of the silent to speak, and to give
them a place to do it.
What this means is that the time has come to weave our knowledge
together. Only then can we complete the picture, and construct a more
accurate
basis from which to assess our reality, our actions, and their
far-reaching consequences.
We believe it is time for the Big Picture to take center stage. How
things are connected, what different fields of endeavor have to offer
each other, how consequences and actions and decisions refract and
feedback, creating each other - these things and so much more must be
deeply understood. In our world of specialized experts, we lack the
education, training, and experience to do this solely with the
infrastructure and approaches we currently have.
Our task is to offer some new avenues: toward training and education,
infrastructure and understanding, and most importantly, approaches to
the new world of potential before us. We ask you to join us!

Global Power Productions exists to research, qualify, integrate, and expand accelerated learning methods in diverse areas of knowledge. We are dedicated to a philosophy of experiential education - inspiring youth and the disadvantaged to be passionate, and fulfill a productive and responsible role in society. GPP uses proven and duplicable methods of addressing education in an accelerated manner in order to give access to those who have missed out and are at a loss as to how to become self-sufficient and responsible citizens. GPP is further established to continue to fund and grow a dedicated organization that will create a healing and stabilizing influence on the destructive and diminishing belief patterns which are crumbling the moral and spiritual fiber of people, especially the youth of today. GPP will create environments of free expression, shared interests, communality and living win-win strategies, integrating spiritual aspects through highly refined, multifaceted and accelerated learning systems. Through total immersion and exchange programs our students will have the opportunity to discover, dissolving multicultural boundaries while actively applying practical business and social knowledge skills with qualified teachers, consultants and experts in their respective fields.

Global Voices for Justice is one of a growing number of alternative media activist groups working to share information and knowledge not available from the corporate media.
A true democracy is dependent on information, and in this time of media consolidation we are in dire need of independent community-based groups. Grassroots media are the catalyst to challenge the monopoly of corporate media with their stenographers and talking heads.
Our collective is made up of individuals who are working to provide alternative information that will challenge the corporate media and engage people in a dialog of new ideas to ensure an alternative discourse.
Our method is to provide audio recordings documenting current affairs, social issues, art, culture and ideas that have a direct impact on our lives. In order to be a part of the change that we all desire and strive for, we encourage you to join us or establish similar organizations.
If you have a good quality recording that would be of interest to our
listeners, please contact us.

GoVeganRadio is much more than a radio show about vegetarian diets - this show covers topics that have become 'mainstream', e.g. Mad Cow Disease, Foot & Mouth, E coli, genetic engineering, and global warming. ur internationally syndicated show has created a worldwide community who appreciate staying well informed on these and other vital issues. Animals do have it pretty rough, maybe because they cannot speak or vote. While many of them are our most loving companions, most of them end up on our dinner plates or hanging on our walls and in our closets. It's time for the animals to have a voice.

This project shows how Earth-friendly lifestyles can replace harmful, stressful consumerism. It is called GEM - the Greenearth Education Movement. GEM also refers to our home planet, a precious, irreplaceable jewel in the cosmos. Earth education groups are now world-wide. We call our common objective 'the New Earth'. This refers to a civilisation with peaceful attitudes, respect for all species in the family of life, revitalised local commerce and high quality living - all with no harm to the world. It's all doable today - if there's more publicity and public take up. See our embryo web site, called Gem-Planet; 8 language versions are in preparation. While the awareness-raising impact is global, all action and participation is person-sized.
Funding The more resources are available, the larger the project's outreach. The rising tide of Earth-friendly attitudes will be the final indicator of progress. This will signal increasing hope for our children. Those who see the wisdom of this: please join in! Already there's participation to be started, at home and work. What you see now is a draft, mainly the work of the site designer. Professional help is welcome.
Use of funds include global off-line education activities promoting quarterly Earth Celebrations; publications and audiovisuals; web site design, research and maintenance. Funding will also be used to attract high quality management, educators and translators. Contributors will be able to check out GEM's progress from the GEM news page.

We see that there are certain issues in society that are making all of our futures more vulnerable and unsafe regardless of our socieoeconomic status or ethnic background. We also see that logical solutions exist for all of these issues. Our goal is to provide accurate and truthful information to the greater US public within the categories of:
Yet because these issues are complex, we will have a continuing research-based tier to the organization that is committed to continually discovering the truth and logical answers around these problematic societal issues.

and life affirming attitudes.
We will achieve our mission

The Healing Music Organization provides information, resources, tools and a forum for dialogue to people interested in the healing power of music and sound. The Healing Music Organization serves as a bridge between the worlds of spirituality and medicine by honoring the value of both modalities. We support the concept of miracles in healing when the spirit and body learn to harmonize together and resonate with the vast energy of the universe.
The Healing Music Organization supports the concepts of entrainment, harmonics and resonance in serving a vital role in bringing body, mind and emotions into alignment with a person's spiritual essence. This alignment allows the opportunity for experiencing deep healing, a sense of lasting wholeness and continued wellness.
The Healing Music Organization furthers the work of visionaries, researchers, scholars, artists, historians, healers, and those seeking healing as we move into a new paradigm. May we access the ancient wisdom of the universe, through intuition, by becoming still, listening to and resonating with the vibrations within our being, and allowing the flow of synchronicity with the world around us.

Heart Magic was originally set up to assist the Aborigines in Australia, specifically the Mirning People, who were declared extinct in the 1950's. Since then, we have raised funds for the Dalai Lama's school in Nepal, and have forged relationships with the Pierce Brosnan Family Foundation, Greenpeace, and Planet Ark, among others. Current efforts are centered on connecting celebrities and people all over the world with causes and issues that matter. We will use multimedia presentations to bring attention to indigenous issues, forests and trees, whales and dolphins, and humanitarian issues.

The mission of Heartsong Sound School (Heartsong) is to bring the gift of music to children, 18 years of age and under, who would otherwise be unable to afford an instrument or lessons. Heartsong will fill this need by giving musical instruments and lessons free of charge to these underprivileged kids.
Heartsong hopes to bring hope to the hopeless though the power of music. By teaching music to kids living on the street, who have almost nothing to call their own, we can show them that they do have a voice, and we can help them find it. Heartsong will travel around the country in a converted school bus (powered by Biodeisel) spending a week or two in each town, and then move on to the next town. It is in this way we feel we can do the most good. We will be going directly to the source. And, by staying on the road, we will have a focused and more wide-reaching impact.
Our motto is: "Because There is Art In Every Heart"

The project disclosure for Home Away From Home is in draft and will appear here soon.

HELP - Hunters and Ecologists for a Living Planet - links the worlds of hunting, ecology, conservation and human rights, in both Western and traditional cultures.
The goal of HELP is to raise funds for local, national and international conservation projects where hunting and other forms of traditional land-use are part of the overall ecological strategy. Land trusts, hunters' conservation projects, species and habitat re-habilitation and re-introduction and the protection of traditional rights to manage land for sustainable harvesting of game all fall within HELP's remit. In addition to this practical work, HELP acts as an interface between the hunting and mainstream environmental worlds - who both share the same goals but have been ideologically divided for too long.

The Indigenous Land Rights Fund (ILRF) assists traditional communities by providing monetary resources for gaining legal title to ancestral land.
Without legal claim to their land, indigenous communities are not able to live as t
