The Whittier Area Peace and Justice Coalition is a broadly based group of local community members whose purpose is to share a vision for peace, justice and environmental well-being. This vision is grounded in the belief that all life is sacred; that differences between people and nations can be resolved in non-violent ways; and that peace is more that the absence of war or the denial of conflict.
