The Permacity Foundation mission is to provide solar power for developing countries and disadvantaged people worldwide and to educate and interact with public policy and corporate policy to implement solar power and other green energy technologies in developed and undeveloped countries.
Permacity Foundation is formed to fill a gap not effectively implemented by the private sector whether it be donating solar panels to light up schools in remote underprivileged parts of the world or by sponsoring local citizen advisory committees to monitor utility policies, rebates, tariff rates, tax credits, etc. that influence the deployment of solar power. Permacity Foundation also provides a resource for trading renewable energy credits and a "Permacity Voluntary Certification" for greenhouse gas reduction for businesses.
