Noteworthy: A Center for Healing Arts
Noteworthy: A Center for Healing
Arts is a program that promotes Healing Arts and provides care
to the Caregiver. We focus on healing, wellness and providing a
safe holding place for processing life events including trauma, loss
and life transitions. Our vision includes:
- Promoting the healing arts, including massage, watsu, tai chi,
yoga, and alternative therapies
- Providing ongoing programs (Care for the Caregivers), and
- Completing projects (Watsu pool and Creative Arts Space) that
support the facility, its practitioners, and its participants.
- Building Friends of Pine Manor, a volunteer group that
supports Pine Manor, an established facility that is within an hour's
drive of three
major metropolitan areas;. Since 1994, Pine Manor has provided a space
for individuals and groups to take time away from their everyday lives
and heal body, mind, and soul through workshops and retreats that focus
on physical and mental wellness. Noteworthy was established in 2005 as
a nonprofit to work in conjunction with Pine Manor and allow for the
continuing development of onsite projects, programs, and community
building.
