Disaster Relief Emergency Community Center

Disaster Relief Emergency Community Center (DRECCenter) is established to provide community centers that are utilized as a main base for returning residents and volunteers in a disaster-stricken area.

DRECCenters are used as an exit strategy for first responders in a disaster area.  This strategy allows for a smooth transition for residents' return to normalcy.  DRECCenters provide a secure, warm, safe haven with services and programs tailored to the needs of a disaster area.  All DRECCenters will offer computers with Internet access, free long distance phone service, satellite radio and TV, a business center, after-school programs, adult education and lecture series.
