Our goal is to create a Learning and Living Community, which enhances emotional, physical, mental and spiritual health based in harmony with the natural world.
Deep Lake Institute, located half-way between Detroit & Chicago is an Integrative Living and Learning Community developed as a model for sustainable growth and renewable resource use. Weekly hosting between 150 to 500 people on 290 rolling wooded acres with five lakes, The Deep Lake Institute offers workshops, seminars and retreats on sustainability, wellness and wisdom in an environment that respects the interconnectedness of all life. The Deep Lake approach is based in deep experiential learning with a focus on personalized and professional training. The Wellness Center, providing Alternative and Complementary Health care, will serve the campus and the local community, plus provide continuing education units for health care professionals. Post seminar follow up includes a network of educational materials and resources in urban areas through out the Mid-West.
