Central Asian Focus Group

The mission of the Central Asian Focus Group ("CAFG") is to promote Central Asian social, cultural, and scientific heritage by developing and strengthening ties between academic institutions, non-profit organizations, and business communities in Central Asia and USA.

After a long period of isolation, Central Asia is opening up to the world. There is a great need for understanding and appreciation of its scientific, cultural, philosophical, and social contributions to our civilization. CAFG will turn this lack of appreciation into exciting opportunities and will strive to materialize these opportunities by creating partnerships, connecting interested parties, and conducting meaningful projects in US and Central Asia. CAFG will serve as a gathering point for generating ideas and creating a bridge connecting Central Asia to a western world.
