The Birthing Vision was founded to create an accessible support system to provide a profoundly conscious, joy-filled, peaceful, and celebratory experience within the human birthing process and early childhood. In so doing, we aim to re-pattern the human involution and evolution process to create peace, ease, and conscious creative joy in the dialogue between what is the matter and the Spirit of creation. The ultimate result will be the emergence of an entire culture based on sustainable co-creativity rather than competition and recovery, yielding a future for the human family of exponential expansion and discovery. Our ultimate mission is to support peaceful birthing practices world wide, and put an end to atrocities against both genders.
The Birthing Vision Team is comprised of 15 women, each a licensed acupuncturist, herbalist, cranial sacral therapist, and Doula. "Doula" means "woman's slave" in Greek, and is a woman trained and experienced in childbirth who provides information and continuous non-clinical physical and emotional support to a woman, her partner, and their baby during pregnancy, labor, birth, and the immediate post partum period.
