Beauty of Water

Beauty of Water is an international art project in appreciation for water. Artists from different countries work within their communities to collaboratively design and produce an art contribution on this theme. In time these art contributions will come together to form a traveling installation that is open to the public.

Water connects us all, as symbol, metaphor, and fundamental truth. We share with countless individuals and organizations the vision of restoration and harmony on the planet.

Beauty of Water is in production at our first location, Kerala, India. As a big step toward our global mission, we are energizing our work in Kerala. We would like your help with funding. Here is what your donation will support:

• Program and personnel support for childrens camps held in different eco-systems throughout Kerala, serving 400 youth ages 10-17. Our cost: $400/Rs.16,000 (hosted by other organizations).
• Curriculum and experiential learning activities for a fine arts college course on the topic of artistic collaboration and nature in art, with focus on water. Our cost: $2000/Rs.80,000.
• A professional art camp with gallery show and documentation. Our cost: $5000/Rs.2 lakhs.
• Rural village programs involving expressive arts and community meaning-making. Our estimated cost: $2000/Rs.80,000.
• Our signature project: collaborative design and production of one new art piece on the theme of appreciation for water. Our estimated cost: $10,000/Rs.4 lakhs.
• Ongoing coordination and administration to continue advancing the Beauty of Water mission. Our cost $600/Rs.24,000 per month.
• A digital video camera will document these exciting happenings. Camera cost: $2000/Rs.80,000, or donate the camera itself!
