The purpose of "Alphabet of Peace," (a book/song/film/conference) is to inspire creative pathways to peace through the sharing of stories of remarkable people who overcame great odds in their youth and have become leaders in the peace movement.
"Alphabet of Peace" is a picture book with a song on a CD for children under twelve. A second version of the book, geared towards young adults and adults includes short chapters with photos of 26 remarkable young people from around the world, each standing for a letter of the English alphabet that represents a word describing peace. These people, inspired in childhood to dedicate their life to peace, are referred to in the book as Emmisaries of Peace. A CD of the song, "Alphabet of Peace," will be included in the back cover of both books. A short documentary will focus on the work of the peace emissaries and include the interweaving soundtrack of the song, "Alphabet of Peace." After the completion of the book, we will hold a conference in Los Angeles, with many of the peace emissaries.
